Eligibility/Age Groups

These age groups are established in conjunction with other junior golf tournaments and allow our winners to receive automatic exemptions into our partner organizations tournaments.

High School Boys Division:

Boys 15 to 18: This division is for boys who have completed the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades and are eligible to play in the JHM. This includes boys who have turned 19 but have not attended college at the time of the tournament. There is a trophy awarded for the overall Boys High School Division and also trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the four age groups of the High School Division. If boys who are younger but have achieved significantly advanced golf skills and desire to “play up” into the High School Division they may apply to the Committee for consideration.

Girls Division:

This division is for girls age 12 to 18 are eligible to play in the JHM. This includes girls who have turned 19 but are finishing High School this year and have not attended college at the time of tournament. There will be four trophies awarded to the top 4 finishers.

Boys Junior Division:

This division is for boys who have not attended High School and are ages 12, 13 and 14. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers of the Junior Boys Division. For boys who have achieved significantly advanced golf skills and desire to “play up” into the High School Division may apply to the Committee for consideration.

Boys and Girls Youth Division:

This division is for Boys or Girls ages 11 and under. This is a 9 hole event the first and second day. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers for this division. For boys or girls who are younger but have achieved significantly advanced golf skills for their age and desire to “play up” into the Junior Boys or Girls Division may apply to the Committee for consideration.
